Moneyview sets IPO price band at Rs 32-34, to raise Rs 1,092 crore at Rs 6,000 crore valuation

Fresh updates from the financial markets indicate that Moneyview, the digital lending platform backed by Accel and Tiger Global Management, on September 21 set the price range at Rs 32-34 per share for its upcoming IPO, which is scheduled to open later the current week, valuing the firm at close to Rs 6,000 crore.

The Bengaluru-based firm is looking to mobilize up to Rs 1,091.7 crore through the initial public offering (IPO), which comprises a fresh offering of Rs 750 crore. Existing shareholders will sell 10.04 crore equity shares worth Rs 341.7 crore through the offer-for-sale (OFS) component.

Apart from promoters Puneet Agarwal and Sanjay Aggarwal, institutional market participants including Accel, Tiger Global Management, Ribbit Capital and DI Investment will additionally be selling shareholders in the OFS.

The IPO will open for public subscription from September 24 to September 28, while the one-day anchor book for institutional market participants will open on September 23.

Moneyview is likely to finalise the IPO share allotment by September 29 and is anticipated to list its shares on the bourses on October 1.

Market participants can bid for a minimum of 441 equity shares and thereafter in multiples of 441 shares. Accordingly, the minimum investment for retail market participants in the offer would be Rs 14,994, while the maximum investment would be Rs 1,94,922.

Half of the public offering size has been reserved for qualified institutional buyers, while 15 percent of the shares have been allocated to non-institutional market participants and the remaining 35 percent to retail market participants.

Global venture capital firm Accel is the largest shareholder in Moneyview, with a 21.89 percent stake. This is followed by Internet Fund III, an affiliate of US-based investment management firm Tiger Global Management, with a 13.79 percent stake. Promoter Sanjay Aggarwal holds a 10.33 percent stake, Ribbit Capital holds a 10.2 percent stake, while Puneet Agarwal holds an 8.66 percent stake.

Moneyview is a digital financial services platform that provides financial products including personal loans, insurance, credit cards and digital gold by connecting users seeking financial products with banks, non-banking financial firms (NBFCs), insurers and other financial institutions.

The firm intends to utilise Rs 325 crore of the net fresh offering proceeds to backing expansion in loan disbursals under default loss guarantee (DLG) arrangements. A further Rs 250 crore will be used for investment in Whizdm Finance (WFPL) to augment its capital base, while the remaining funds will be used for general corporate purposes.

In the meantime, its earnings for the year ended March 2026 increased to Rs 242.7 crore, up just 1 percent from Rs 240.3 crore in the previous year. Topline surged 43.3 percent to Rs 3,351.2 crore from Rs 2,339.1 crore during the same period.

In the latest quarter ended June 2026, earnings surged to Rs 173.8 crore, up 158.8 percent from Rs 67.15 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. Topline from operations during the same period grew 50.2 percent to Rs 1,041.1 crore from Rs 693 crore.

Axis Capital, BofA Securities India, IIFL Capital Services and Kotak Mahindra Capital Firm are acting as the book-running lead managers to the Moneyview IPO.
