The latest round takes QNu Labs' total capital boosted to Rs 375 crore.

The firm stated the funds will be used to accelerate research and development, expand its sales and go-to-market operations in India and overseas.

A portion of the funding will additionally go towards QNu Labs’ contribution to an Research Development and Innovation (RDI) funded project to build the technology backbone for India's Quantum Secure and Sensing Networks.

The investment comes in the backdrop of quantum computers being potentially capable of breaking traditional encryption systems at present used to protect digital infrastructure. India's National Quantum Mission has set 2029 as a key timeline for developing and deploying quantum technologies.

The investment additionally comes as momentum pick up in India's deep-tech ecosystem, with government backing initiatives across semiconductors, space technology, artificial intelligence and quantum computing.

QNu Labs co-founder Sunil Gupta stated, "India has moved early on in the quantum era. The National Quantum Mission, through its IIT Madras hub, has laid the foundation and with implementation timelines published in 2026 across sectors, quantum-safe technology is shifting from policy to commercial deployment."

QNu Labs has spent over a decade building this stack and has already deployed across government, critical infrastructure and BFSI. Investment in indigenous capability now gives India a clear opportunity: secure its expanding digital infrastructure with sovereign technology that meets global standards and competes in global markets, he stated.

Ffounded in 2016 and incubated at IIT Madras, QNu Labs employs around 160 engineers, physicists and mathematicians. Its quantum-safe products are already deployed across government, critical infrastructure and banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), the firm stated.
