TPG sells Rs 114 crore Shadowfax shares; Kotak Mahindra AMC buys 3.59% stake in Avalon Technologies

The latest market report highlights that Newquest Asia Fund IV (Singapore), owned by global alternative asset management firm TPG, sold Rs 113.6 crore worth of shares in Shadowfax Technologies, the technology-led third-party logistics services provider, through open-market transactions on September 30.

Shares of Shadowfax Technologies declined 0.21% to close at Rs 280.25 amid high volumes on the National Stock Exchange.

Newquest Asia Fund IV (Singapore) sold 40 lakh shares, representing a 0.68% stake in the firm, for Rs 113.61 crore. The shares were sold at Rs 284.03 apiece.

The TPG-backed investor has pared its stake in Shadowfax by 4.18 percentage points, or 2.45 crore equity shares, during the current quarter, compared with its 11.53% holding as of June 2026.

Kotak Mahindra AMC buys 3.59% stake in Avalon Technologies from promoter

Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund acquired 24.01 lakh shares, representing a 3.59% stake in Avalon Technologies, the electronic manufacturing services firm, for Rs 521.38 crore at Rs 2,171 per share.

On the other side, promoter entities KBS Family Trust, Bhaskar Srinivasan and BBS Family Trust each sold 13.36 lakh shares in Avalon Technologies for Rs 290.1 crore. Their combined stake sale amounted to 6%, worth Rs 870.61 crore.

Avalon Technologies shares recovered sharply after opening softer and ended off the day's low at Rs 2,296.7 on the NSE, down 0.23% amid high volumes.

HNI Gian Parkash Aggarwal sold 15.5 lakh shares, representing a 2.7% stake in pharma firm Innova Captab, for Rs 167.4 crore at Rs 1,080.04 per share.

In the meantime, SBI Mutual Fund acquired 8.33 lakh shares, representing a 1.45% stake in the firm, for Rs 89.99 crore. The shares were bought at Rs 1,080 apiece.

Innova Captab shares plunged 8.76% to Rs 1,159.8 amid heavy volumes on the NSE.

HDFC AMC picks up 2% stake in Molbio Diagnostics; Motilal Oswal entity sells Rs 306 crore worth of shares

HDFC Mutual Fund acquired 23 lakh shares, equivalent to a 1.99% stake in Goa-based diagnostic solutions provider Molbio Diagnostics, for Rs 302.45 crore. The shares were bought at Rs 1,315 apiece.

In the meantime, Business Excellence Trust III, managed by Motilal Oswal Private Equity, pared its stake in the firm by 2.02 percentage points, offloading 23.28 lakh shares for Rs 306.26 crore at Rs 1,315.01 per share.

Molbio Diagnostics shares rallied 4.24% to close at Rs 1,308.9 after a volatile session on Wednesday.
