Block Deals: Jupiter Capital sells 10.69% Axiscades stake; Abakkus, Kotak AMC among buyers

Fresh updates from the financial markets indicate that Promoter Jupiter Capital has sold a 10.69 percent stake in engineering solutions firm Axiscades Technologies, while Sunil Singhania's Abakkus Asset Manager and Kotak Mahindra AMC picked up a combined 7.92 percent stake through open-market transactions on September 29.
Following the block deals, Axiscades shares hit the 10 percent upper circuit to close at Rs 2,067.40, their highest closing level since May 11, amid heavy volumes on the National Stock Exchange.
Jupiter Capital, which held a 58.03 percent stake in Axiscades as of June 2026, sold 45.48 lakh shares, representing 10.69 percent of the firm's paid-up equity, for Rs 829.72 crore. The shares changed hands with four institutional market participants at Rs 1,824 apiece.
Abakkus Asset Manager bought 12.88 lakh shares, representing a 3.03 percent stake, for Rs 235 crore, while Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund acquired 20.83 lakh shares, or a 4.89 percent stake, for Rs 380 crore.
Vanaja Sundar bought 3 lakh shares in Axiscades for Rs 54.72 crore, while Svadha India Emerging Opportunities Scheme 1 acquired 8.77 lakh shares for Rs 160 crore.
Mubadala sells 3.34% stake in Cube Highways Trust
Seventy Second Investment Firm LLC, owned by Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund Mubadala Investment Firm, sold 4.49 crore units, representing a 3.34 percent stake, in highway infrastructure investment trust Cube Highways Trust for Rs 689.46 crore.
The Abu Dhabi government-owned entity, which held a 6 percent stake in Cube Highways Trust as of June 2026, sold the stake to nine market participants, including Larsen & Toubro, Birla Mutual Fund, HSBC Mutual Fund and Kotak Mahindra AMC, at Rs 153.30 per unit.
Larsen & Toubro bought 97.84 lakh units for Rs 150 crore, while Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Firm acquired 26.09 lakh units for Rs 40 crore.
Birla Mutual Fund, HSBC Mutual Fund, Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund and Max New York Life Insurance each bought 26.09 lakh units for Rs 40 crore.
HDFC Standard Life Insurance and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Firm each acquired 68.31 lakh units for Rs 104.73 crore, while White Oak Capital Mutual Fund picked up 84.8 lakh units for Rs 130 crore.
Cube Highways Trust ended at Rs 154.59 on the NSE, up 0.37 percent.
