Vikram Solar shares gain nearly 2% on 400 MW module supply order

The latest market report highlights that Vikram Solar stock price rose nearly 2 percent in the initial trade on September 29 after the firm secured a 400 MW module supply order from a reputed EPC player for decentralised solar projects across multiple locations in Maharashtra.

At 09:19am, Vikram Solar was quoting at Rs 162.65, up Rs 2.60, or 1.62 percent, on the BSE.

Under the agreement, Vikram Solar will supply 620 Wp high-efficiency N-Type TOPCon G12R modules featuring glass-to-glass, bifacial technology and half-trimmed cells.

The supplies are scheduled to commence in October 2026.

Earlier this month, the firm entered into a domestic cell supply agreement with Avaada Electro for 1 GW of ALMM-compliant, domestically manufactured half-trimmed N-Type G12R TOPCon solar cells for its module manufacturing operations.

Vikram Solar additionally recently secured a 124 MW module supply order for a solar project in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, with supplies of 620–630 Wp G12R TOPCon modules additionally scheduled to begin in October.

In August, the firm completed the acquisition of Vikram Solar Australia Pty Ltd, making it a wholly owned subsidiary.
