Shah Investor's IPO subscribed 7% on Day 1 so far; check GMP

New business data points to the fact that The Rs 90.17-crore initial public offering (IPO) of Shah Investor's Home was subscribed 7 per cent on the first day of bidding so far, with the offering receiving demand for over 2.75 lakh shares against 37.79 lakh shares on offer till 1:10 pm on Monday.

The portion reserved for Retail Individual Market participants (RIIs) was subscribed 11 per cent, while the quota for Non-Institutional Market participants (NIIs) was booked 7 per cent so far.

Ahmedabad-based Shah Investor's Home, a retail stock broking firm, opened its IPO for subscription on September 28.

According to platforms tracking grey market activities, the shares of Shah Investor's IPO are commanding a GMP of up to 7 percent. Investorgain quoted a GMP of Rs 12 for the shares of the firm, indicating a stock-exchange debut gain of 7.19 percent. In the meantime, IPO Watch, quoted a GMP of 5.99 percent.

The firm aims to mobilize Rs 90.16 crore through the IPO and is seeking a valuation of Rs 353.25 crore at the upper end of the price range of Rs 159-167 per share.

Shah Investor's Home competes with smallcap listed peers such as SMC Global Securities, Share India Securities and Arihant Capital Markets.

The firm intends to use Rs 60 crore of the net IPO proceeds for working capital requirements, with the remaining funds earmarked for general corporate purposes.

On the financial front, the firm noted a earnings of Rs 13.2 crore for the year ended March 2026, down 43.5 per cent from Rs 23.4 crore in the previous year. Topline during the same period declined 24.2 per cent to Rs 71.5 crore from Rs 94.3 crore.

The IPO share allotment is likely to be finalised by October 1, while the equity shares are anticipated to start trading on the bourses on October 6.
