Real estate firm Runwal Enterprises raises Rs 149 crore from anchor investors, opens IPO on September 25

Reports coming in for today mention that Runwal Enterprises, the Mumbai-based real estate firm, on September 24 boosted Rs 148.9 crore from anchor market participants, a day before the IPO opens for public subscription.
The Subodh Runwal-promoted firm aims to mobilize Rs 500 crore through an initial public offering (IPO), comprising entirely a fresh offering of equity shares.
The IPO will open for public subscription on September 25, with a price range of Rs 290-305 per share, and will close on September 29.
Runwal Enterprises has allotted 48.83 lakh shares to nine institutional market participants through the anchor book at the upper end of the price range.
Tata Mutual Fund was the largest investor in the anchor book, acquiring 13.11 lakh shares for Rs 40 crore, while Maybank Securities picked up 8.19 lakh shares for Rs 25 crore. Authum Investment and Infrastructure was allotted 6.44 lakh shares for Rs 19.6 crore.
Other market participants, including 360 ONE WAM, Sanshi Fund, Founders Collective Fund, Capri Global Capital, Ashika Global Finance and LRSD Securities, additionally participated in the anchor book.
Of the net proceeds from the fresh offering, the majority, or Rs 325 crore, will be utilised towards repayment of debt availed by the firm and its subsidiaries, Runwal Residency and Evie Real Estate. The remaining amount will be used to fund acquisitions of future real estate projects and for general corporate purposes.
As of July 2026, Runwal Enterprises had outstanding borrowings of Rs 431.4 crore on a standalone basis, while outstanding borrowings of Evie Real Estate stood at Rs 356.4 crore and those of Runwal Residency at Rs 286.5 crore.

The firm had 28 ongoing projects covering 19.88 million square feet and 33 upcoming projects covering 56.41 million square feet as of March 2026. It has additionally completed 19 projects.
