Digital lending platform Moneyview raises over Rs 327 crore via anchor book ahead of Rs 1,092-crore IPO

As per the latest business developments, Bengaluru-based Moneyview — an Accel, Tiger Global and Ribbit Capital-backed digital credit-led financial services platform — mobilised Rs 327.5 crore through its anchor book on September 23, ahead of its Rs 1,092-crore initial public offering (IPO).

The IPO will open for public subscription on September 24, with a price range of Rs 32-34 per share, and close on September 28.

The public offering comprises a fresh offering of equity shares worth Rs 750 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of 10.04 crore shares worth Rs 341.6 crore by promoters and existing market participants.

On Wednesday, Moneyview allotted 9.63 crore equity shares to 12 anchor market participants at the upper end of the price range. Of this, the firm allocated 6.96 crore equity shares worth Rs 236.7 crore to seven domestic mutual funds, including SBI Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential AMC, HDFC AMC, Motilal Oswal AMC, Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC, and Quant Mutual Fund.

Other institutional market participants such as Goldman Sachs, Amundi Funds, 360 ONE, HDFC Life Insurance Firm, and India Acorn Fund additionally participated in the anchor book.

Promoted by Puneet Agarwal and Sanjay Aggarwal, Moneyview will use Rs 325 crore of the net fresh offering proceeds to drive expansion in loan disbursals under default loss guarantee (DLG) arrangements.

The firm will additionally bolster the capital base of its subsidiary, Whizdm Finance, by allocating Rs 250 crore, with the remaining funds earmarked for general corporate purposes.

The digital financial services platform connects users seeking financial products with banks, NBFCs, insurers and other institutions offering personal loans, insurance, credit cards and digital gold. As of June 2026, it had 14.03 crore registered users and 48 financial partners on its network.

For the quarter ended June 2026, Moneyview noted a net earnings of Rs 173.8 crore, more than 2.5 times the Rs 67.2 crore noted in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. Topline surged 50.2 percent year-on-year to Rs 1,041.1 crore from Rs 693 crore.

In the financial year ended March 2026, the firm’s earnings rose 1.2 percent year-on-year to Rs 244.1 crore, while topline advanced 43.3 percent to Rs 3,351.2 crore.

Axis Capital, BofA Securities India, IIFL Capital Services and Kotak Mahindra Capital Firm are the book-running lead managers for the Moneyview IPO.
