Jindal Supreme IPO allotment today: GMP at 31% — check status on BSE, NSE and registrar

The latest market report highlights that The allotment of shares in Jindal Supreme India's Rs 124.88-crore initial public offering (IPO) is anticipated to be finalised today, September 21, after the steel pipes and tubes maker received overwhelming demand during its three-day subscription period.
The IPO was subscribed 181.07 times on the final day of bidding on September 18, according to NSE data. Market participants placed bids for nearly 170.20 crore shares against 93.99 lakh shares on offer. The non-institutional investor (NII) category led the demand with 327.99 times subscription, followed by retail market participants at 149.34 times and qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) at 126.41 times.
The IPO opened on September 16 and closed on September 18. The price range was set at Rs 88-93 per share. The offering comprises a fresh offering of 1.07 crore shares worth around Rs 99.89 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of 26.87 lakh shares worth around Rs 24.99 crore. The shares are scheduled to list on the BSE and NSE on September 23.

Jindal Supreme shares are commanding a premium in the grey market ahead of the allotment. According to InvestorGain, the GMP stood at around Rs 29 per share as of September 21. At the upper end of the Rs 93 IPO price range, this indicates an estimated stock-exchange debut price of around Rs 122, translating into a potential premium of approximately 31.18 percent.
GMP figures are unofficial and based on activity in the unregulated grey market. They can change before stock-exchange debut and should not be treated as a guarantee of the actual stock-exchange debut price or returns.

Ahead of the public offering, Jindal Supreme India boosted Rs 37.46 crore through its anchor book on September 15 by allotting 40.28 lakh shares.
Craft Emerging Market Fund PCC was the largest participant. Through three schemes, namely Arbitrage Strategy Fund, Citadel Capital Fund and Elite Capital Fund, it acquired around 29.53 lakh shares for Rs 27.46 crore.
Minerva Emerging Opportunities Fund and Ekamya Pragati Scheme each acquired 5.37 lakh shares worth Rs 5 crore.
The firm plans to utilise around Rs 71 crore from the fresh offering towards repayment or prepayment of debt. The balance will be used for general corporate purposes.
As of June 2026, Jindal Supreme India had total borrowings of around Rs 92.46 crore, apart from accrued interest on its borrowings.
Jindal Supreme India noted topline of Rs 675.4 crore in FY26, up 15.2 percent from Rs 586.4 crore in FY25. That stated, earnings declined 7.2 percent to Rs 22.5 crore from Rs 24.3 crore during the same period.
For the quarter ended June 2026, the firm noted topline of Rs 190.93 crore and earnings of Rs 8.3 crore.
The IPO is being managed by Sarthi Capital Advisors, which is acting as the merchant banker to the offering. Bigshare Services is the registrar to the offering.
Jindal Supreme India manufactures mild steel black pipes and tubes, galvanised pipes, metal beam crash barriers and galvanised iron tubular poles.
Its products are used across water supply and plumbing, infrastructure and construction, roads and highways, bridges, oil and gas, chemicals, agriculture and rural electrification. The firm's manufacturing facility is located in Hisar, Haryana.
