Sunil Singhania’s Abakkus acquires 1.48% stake in BlackBuck; Jamna Auto promoters sell 5% shares

The latest market report highlights that Market veteran Sunil Singhania's Abakkus Investment Managers has acquired a 1.48 percent stake in BlackBuck, the country's largest trucking platform, while promoters have offloaded a 5 percent stake in Jamna Auto Industries, an automotive suspension solutions provider, through open-market transactions on September 11.

BlackBuck shares appeared to react to the block deals, surging 7.21 percent to Rs 628.15 amid heavy trading volumes.

Abakkus Investment Managers acquired 27 lakh shares, representing a 1.48 percent stake in BlackBuck, from Accel India IV (Mauritius) for Rs 155.5 crore. The shares changed hands at Rs 576.05 apiece.

Accel India IV held a 7.17 percent stake, or 1.3 crore equity shares, in BlackBuck as of June 2026, as stated by the firm's shareholding pattern.

DSP MF, 360 ONE, ADIA pick up 5% stake from Jamna Auto promoters

Promoters Randeep Singh Jauhar and Pradeep Singh Jauhar each sold 99.95 lakh shares, representing a 2.5 percent stake, in auto-parts maker Jamna Auto Industries. The total stake sold was worth Rs 255.87 crore at a price of Rs 128 per share.

On the other side, three institutional market participants acquired the entire stake sold by the Jamna Auto promoters.

360 ONE Mutual Fund and 360 ONE Asset Management acquired 99.95 lakh shares, or a 2.5 percent stake, in Jamna Auto for Rs 127.93 crore. DSP Mutual Fund picked up 78.12 lakh shares, representing a 1.95 percent stake, for Rs 100 crore, while the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority acquired 21.82 lakh shares, or a 0.54 percent stake, for Rs 27.93 crore.

Jamna Auto Industries shares rallied 2.73 percent to Rs 135.46 amid heavy volumes, extending their uptrend for the fifth consecutive session on Friday.
