The latest market report highlights that The allotment of shares in Glass Wall Systems (India) is anticipated to be finalised today, September 11, after the Rs 427.89-crore initial public offering (IPO) drew firm demand during its three-day bidding period.

The IPO was subscribed 81.62 times by the close of bidding on September 10, according to NSE data. Market participants placed bids for 134.37 crore equity shares against 1.65 crore shares on offer. Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) led the demand, with their portion subscribed 167.93 times. The non-institutional investor (NII) category was subscribed 79.71 times, while the retail portion was subscribed 33.18 times.

The IPO was open from September 8 to September 10, with the price range set at Rs 172-182 per share. The shares are scheduled to list on the BSE and NSE on September 16.

The grey market premium has remained elevated ahead of the allotment. According to InvestorGain, the GMP was Rs 45 per share based on its latest September 10 update. At the upper end of the Rs 182 price range, this indicates an estimated stock-exchange debut price of around Rs 227, or a premium of approximately 25 percent.

The Rs 427.89-crore offering comprises a fresh offering of 32.97 lakh shares worth Rs 60 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 2.02 crore shares worth Rs 367.89 crore. The bulk of the offering as a result comprises shares being sold by existing shareholders rather than fresh capital boosted by the firm.

The minimum application size for retail market participants was 82 shares, requiring an investment of Rs 14,924 at the upper price range of Rs 182.

The firm plans to use the Rs 60 crore fresh offering proceeds for capital expenditure related to setting up a glass processing unit at its Vile Bhagad facility.

The project is part of the firm's scheduled backward integration strategy. The remaining proceeds are intended for general corporate purposes.

Glass Wall Systems noted a 64 percent gain in topline between FY25 and FY26, while its earnings after tax (PAT) rose 46 percent during the same period.

The firm provides façade and fenestration solutions across domestic and international markets. Its offerings include curtain-wall façades, storefront systems, unitised and semi-unitised façades, windows, doors, skylights and partition systems.

Incorporated in 2010, Glass Wall Systems (India) operates in the façade solutions and fenestration segment, with business exposure across India, the US and Australia. The firm stated it had completed more than 158 projects as of March 31, 2026 and has more than two decades of industry experience.

IIFL Capital Services and Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors are the book-running lead managers to the offering, while MUFG Intime India Private Limited is the registrar.
