Gaja Alternative shares fall 3.5% even as total income rises 27% in Q1 to Rs 52 crore

Reports coming in for today mention that Shares of Gaja Alternative Asset Management declined as much as 3.5 percent on Thursday even as the firm's total income rose 27 percent in the June quarter of the current fiscal.
The shares settled at Rs 155.33 per share on the NSE, down 2.12 percent.
The firm's total income rose nearly 27 percent to Rs 52 crore in the first quarter of 2026-27, compared with Rs 41 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
The income for Q1 FY27 grew 148 percent QoQ from Rs 21 crore.
The firm has announced a final dividend of 15 percent (Rs 0.75 per share) for the Financial Year 2025-26.
In the meantime, earnings after tax rose 35 percent to Rs 27 crore in the June quarter from Rs 20 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
This was the firm's first result after its shares were listed on the exchanges in August 2026.
Shares of Gaja Alternative Asset Management, which operates under the Gaja Capital brand, were listed at Rs 185 per share on the NSE on August 26, a premium of 15.63 percent over the offering price.
The Rs 550-crore initial share sale had a price range of Rs 152-160 per share.
On the BSE, the shares were listed at Rs 185.20, a premium of 15.75 percent.
