Comex silver declined 1.04 percent to $67.93 per ounce during the morning trade.

The domestic MCX gold futures for the October contract held its position at Rs 1,53,679 per 10 grams (09:14 IST), down 0.05 percent in the morning trade, and silver posted a 0.05 percent slide to Rs 2,43,000 per 1 kilogram. Domestic spot gold closed the Wednesday session at Rs 1,52,764 per 10 grams on MCX, and silver at Rs 2,35,040 per kilogram.
